Several different presidents have tried to lead America on the road to having a universal health care system; all the bills have been blocked until now. The usual very conservative, right wing Republicans are beginning to come around and see all the benefits and great things that will come out of a new health care approach. The American Medical Association is one of the usually conservative groups that are coming out in full support of the bill. Many business' favor the bill as well because they understand that creating a more predictable health insurance rate and reducing health care costs that are currently being enforced at the moment will not only cut business costs, but give them the ability to provide more efficient, stable health care coverage to all employees. "while insurance companies have much to lose from legislation that includes a public option and tight regulations, many large insurers know that they can survive and thrive when every American purchases insurance." This article is a good article to refer to in regards to my research question because it shows how this $894 billion will actually save many Americans money and provide better care. Business' will more efficiently thrive through the reform and every man, woman and child in America will be insured and no one will ever have to worry about dying because they cannot afford medical care.
